Our Story

Hi, I'm Marisol.

Every piece in this shop started as artwork on my screen, usually late at night, after everyone else in the house had gone to bed.

For over thirty years I spent my days in corporate buildings. Gray carpet. Beige walls. Rooms built to keep everybody calm and nobody happy. Then I came home, and home gave me what those buildings never could. Joy. That is what I design now. Bold home decor that lifts you the second you walk in the door.

I design in a style I call stained glass illusion. Light coming through color. The look of old cathedral glass brought onto a platter you actually serve from, a blanket you actually curl up under, a glass you hand to someone who just moved into her first home. Beautiful things you use, not beautiful things you protect.

I make things for the woman who notices. She notices when a gift was chosen instead of grabbed. She notices when a table was set with a little more care than it had to be. She is usually the one making everyone else feel at home, and she rarely gets that back. This store is me giving it back.

Faith runs through a lot of what I make, because it runs through me. Jesus comes first in my life, and my home says so. But you will not find anything loud or preachy here. My favorite pieces are the ones a guest compliments before she notices what they say. Whoever you are, you are as welcome in this store as you would be in my home.

I write, too. There is a novel, a Bible study journal, and a prayer journal, all made the same way as everything else here. By hand, and on purpose.

When you buy from this shop, you are not funding a warehouse. You are backing a woman who designs every single piece herself, and who believes your home should make you happy every single day. Not just when company comes over.
